A day at the Zoo!!

Today we headed out to the zoo with my sister, brother in law and niece. It was a beautiful, cold day. It was a great day for a walk! Our monkeys had a great time running around looking at all the animals!

Madeline showing us the animals, I think this was a wild hog. She kept saying Oink, Oink!!!! Very cute!

Here is Addysen jumping in the puddles, trying out her new boots! She thought this was great! Every puddle we went by, she had to try out!

Madeline's favorite part of the zoo was the Giraffe exhibit! She kept tapping on the glass trying to get the giraffe to turn around and look at her! It was adorable!

What a great day we had, thanks T & D for inviting us to the zoo! We will definitley have to do it again!

UPDATE on NEW BUISNESS!!!

I am so excited to say that the first day was great! The kids had a wonderful time of playing, doing crafts and circle time (they especially loved the frog song and dance). My goal now is to open up my Tuesday (At this point I have 5 spots available for 2 year olds). I am also considering opening up Friday as well. Sowing little Seeds Room

I am finally finished getting the room ready for my 2 year old Program (Sowing little Seeds). I am delighted with how well it turned out and can't wait to put it to good use tomorrow. Here are a few pictures of the finished product. Enjoy!!!

Tea Time with Daddy

This is such good tea!

I just thought this was the most precious thing, I think the poem sums up exactly what I was feeling at that moment! Daddy and Madeline time is such a special time!

Blue collar days are long and hard.
He skips a thousand lunches.
But he is never too exhausted for
The one who loves him “bunches!”

She slides her tiny fingers in
His calloused, manly hands,
And begs him to come watch as she
Performs a silly dance.

His weary eyes light up with joy
He grins a daddy’s smile,
And he is captivated by
This gifted, pretty child.

Dinner’s on, but it can wait.
He’s been invited to
Imaginary biscuits
And tea. “One lump or two?”

I watch this grown man fill the chair,
His frame three times its size.
He winks at me with kindness
That makes tears fill my eyes.

I knew this man was special
The day I said “I do”,
But now that he’s a father,
Our daughter knows it, too.

Sowing little Seeds 2 year old Program

I have started a new buisness called Sowing little Seeds Children's Programs. I have decided to start my program with 2 year old and see where it takes me. I am starting my program on March 27, I have a full class of 2 year olds ( I am only taking 5 children per class). My program is an hour and a half long with songs, stories, crafts and playtime. I am looking forward to this program and look forward to seeing how it grows in the coming months. Welcome to the family Dave!

It has been a couple months, but I would like to welcome Dave into our family. D is L's husband, there wedding was the reason we went to Mexico. L is Ed's sister and we are thrilled to have an expansion to our family! Welcome Dave!

Happy 75th Birthday Dad C.

This past weekend, Ed headed to Calgary for his dad's 75th Birthday. His family through a surprise birthday at D & L's house, it was a great time had by all. Happy 75th Birthday Dad C., may God bless you this year.

Happy 2nd Birthday Addysen Olivia!!!

This past weekend we celebrated my niece Addysen's 2nd Birthday. She is such an amazing little girl with lots of expression and great big stories. T & D put on a great birthday starting with cookie decorating, lunch, gift opening and cake...We all had a wonderful time:)

On her new tricycle from Grandpa and Grandma A., she loved it!!!!

Here is her Birthday cake. My sister and I made this together...this was my second experience decorating a cake with fondant...

Singing Happy Birthday to Addysen, she loved hearing us sing.
