Lavish
I am so excited to annouce that I have become an Independent Lavish Consultant. Just in case you don't know what Lavish is, it is a Langley company that sells purses, jewerly, pashminas & scarves, belts and now sunglasses and rings. Too purchase Lavish products you can either do a home party and earn a free purse or you can just purchase it through me. There products are fabulous!!! If you want to take a peek at there products, you can at www.lavishonline.com

I decided to join the Lavish buisness because I really want to stay at home with our daughter Madeline, but would also like some extra cash to spend. I thought this would be a great buisness to join, I can do work in the evenings when my husband is home.
I am thrilled to have made this decision and have not second guessed the decision at all!

Waterslides!
A few weekends ago we headed to Cultas Lake to go camping. We decided because of the beautiful weather, to head to the Waterslides. We had never taken Madeline to the waterslides before and thought this would be a great opportunity. The first thing we did when we got into the gate was rent Madeline a lifejacket. Then we took her over to the toddler area and let her go for it. Below is a picture of Mady heading down the slide, not knowing there would be water at the end. We did get a few tears, but once she got used to it you couldn't stop her.
Here she is trying a bigger slide all by herself, she wasn't afraid at all. We have never seen her laugh so hard!

Heading down another slide, she had to try them all. You couldn't stop her! Madeline loves water and so this was something she absolutley loved doing.

May long weekend
May long weekend we headed to Victoria with my family. We had a wonderful time there, we stayed at a great hotel right by the harbor. We did lots of exploring around Victoria and also relaxed by the indoor pool.
Here we are on the way to Victoria, Madeline absolutley loved the ferry ride. She loved walking into the wind and playing at the play area.
Here are Madeline and my neice Addysen posing in the hotel lobby with there bouncy balls. Ready to go for dinner at the Spaghetti Factory.
While in Victoria we did a little bit of shopping. Here is Madeline checking ou the window display.
Here is my sister Tanya and her daughter Addysen posing for a girly picture. Uncle Ed was being a goof, making the little girls smile. We had a great weekend on a little get away with my family. Thanks Dad and Mom A.

18 months!!!
Time has flown by so fast! Our baby is just over 18 months old! She has been such a joy to us. She is a very healthy and busy little girl. She runs all over the place, talks a mile a minute, sings all the time, loves animals (even cats, her mommy is not so sure about them though), loves doing puzzles, reading books, playing outside, help in the garden, playing with friends, my list could go on and on ... I really feel blessed to have been given such a wonderful little girl to be a mom too!!!

Lori and Dave's Wedding Reception
This past weekend we headed to Calgary for Ed's sisters wedding reception. You may remember us going to Mexico in January for her wedding. We had a great extra long weekend, it was full and busy and not too cold. We were a little worried about how cold it was going to be in Calgary because of all the recent snowy days they have had, but it was beautiful while we were there.

The theme of the reception was the beach, so there was a lot of seashells and blue fabric. It was beautiful! Lori and I had a great time decorating the tables, making the cake and organizing the wedding reception.
Here is Madeline in her flowergirl dress!
My cute little girl sitting pretty on a chair in the reception hall!

Here is the wedding cake and table that I decorated. The cake didn't turn out exactly how I had imagined. I didn't make the cake, a bakery in Calgary did, but I decorated it. It turned out okay for decorating the cake at the reception hall an hour before the reception.

Here is the table we decorated. My mom made the blue scarves that are in the middle of the table. The vase was filled with water and there was a floating candle on top. There were 4 votive candles around the table with seashells and crystals. It looked great!
